Trials and Triumphs!

In life we are going to have many ups and many downs however how would you know to appreciate the ups if there were no downs. Our trials, tests, and tribulation are not design to kill us in fact they are designed to build us to be better people and to be able to prosper as Christians the way God wants us to. Being Christ-like some may have been under the impression that things were going to be easy and that life was automatically going to get better, "News Flash" it is quite the opposite. They persecuted, talked about and rejected Jesus and us being like Him we may very well have to endure similar treatment.God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die so that we can live. Jesus came from glory, some people may not even know this but the story of Jesus started before His crucifixion, in fact Jesus Christ has always been from the beginning of time. There is God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit and when God said let us make man in our own image He was talking about Himself, Jesus Christ an the Holy Spirit, The Three make up One. The Holy Trinity is made up of Three. I am saying all this to say there is so much we can and will learn when we make up our minds to read the Holy Bible "God's Word". By reading the Word of God we will learn how to conquer the enemy. We will learn and know that we are not alone and that we are children of the Most High God. So no matter the storm, test or trial it will pass. Hold on trust God and believe, God is very Real and He is so very Good, I know because He saved me and continues to each day. See for yourself He is only a prayer away. Call on Him!

The Goodness of The Lord!

In life there are going to be ups and downs. The thing we need to remember is to change our response by not giving into the negative things that come up. We must remember to thank and praise God continuously in the good times as well as the challenging times. It's easy to praise God while things are going great, the real challenge is in praising God just because He is God (our Heavenly Father). He has done so much for all of us already anything more is just added blessings and I am grateful and thankful. God doesn't do what He does because He has to He does what He does because He wants to.
Everyday we ought to be thanking God for His faithfulness and for the gift of life that He gives us. God is so good. He will not give us more than we can handle and at the same time He prepares us for a new level. He knows us, He created us in His own image, we are royalty. We are to conitnue to grow God wants for us to prosper in every area of our lives but in order to do this we have to be willing. We have to want to receive The Lord's Salvation. God is not going to force Himself on any of us, you have to invite Him in. There are times when people go on with their daily lives as if they created it all on their own but as soon as trouble strikes thats when they choose to call on the Lord. My question is why wait for something bad to happen before you call on the Lord? Seek Him now while He may be found. He is right here and always has been. Do you know the Lord? Do you know what He has done for us? If you died today do you know where you would go? If you don't know the answers to these questions I suggest you read God's Word and find out for yourself. We were created to give God the Glory but how are you going to do that if you don't know how? God is awesome! He saved me from myself I am here today able to tell my story because He kept me. His Grace and Mercy sustained me. I did not do it on my own therefore I owe God a praise and more. I encourage you today to develop a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today! There is no failing with Jesus, find out for yourself!

Fighting the Good Fight of Faith!

My mind was racing I couldn't seem to get a grip on reality, it felt as if I was being suffocated from the inside out. All I truly wanted to do was to please God by helping others, ministering the Word and giving as God so graciously gives to me. I am not perfect but I was sure trying to be. Maybe just maybe I was trying too hard. I go to church every Sunday, I am on the praise and worship team, I am at intercessory prayer every thursday night, I sing in the choir, I pay my tithes, I go an extra mile to help others and in all that I do it is my wish and prayer to please God. What am I doing wrong? Why do I feel like the world is closing in on me? Why can't I seem to get ahead? Why does it feel like I am all alone in this world at times? Why oh why do I feel so bad if I am doing everything right?
The answer is I am under attack! (This is just a trial designed to build and strengthen me to get where God wants me to be) The enemy would love for me to believe I am all alone and dont have God on my side. "the devil is a liar" (God promises never to leave nor forsake me). Today I am going to fight the good fight of faith by hanging in there and by continuing to do the right thing.I now know that God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts nor is His timing our timing. God is in charge an still sitting on the throne. Just because it may seem as if things are moving slow and like things are not going to get better by faith I am believing God for His divine intervention. The Bible say's that "All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." I know that I love the Lord and that I am called. The enemy deceives and tries to stir up unbelief, fear and doubt in the children of God in efforts to hinder and sabatoge the life God has promised us. All I need to do is wait on the Lord and by waiting on the Lord my strength shall be renewed. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I will not walk around here as if I have the weight of the world on my shoulders when God instructs us to cast our cares and fears upon Him bcause He cares for us and loves us. I am going to smile and continue to be grateful to be here another day. I will not focus on the bad. Nor will I entertain negative thoughts and or people. Today I will fight by casting down vain and wicked imaginations and every high and lofty thing that exhalts itself above the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Jesus Christ. I will fight (I am not alone)God is for me and with God for me who can be against me. I will hold on and when I have done all that I can do I will stand. I am Victorious, I am teachable, I am beautiful, I am above and not beneath, I am a lender and not a borrower, I am who God says I am, I am a child of the Most High God and He has the final say! It aint over!

ONE WAY...

It is essential to have tunnel vision when it comes to doing the Will of God. This means we are not to waiver nor compromise who we are in Christ to please other people, people who simply cannot understand your love for Christ Jesus. I have had different people say to me on more than one occaision that I talk about God too much and that I shouldnt be the way I am. My thoughts are....."Are you serious" what God has done for me no other would have done. God is in charge and sitting on His throne watching and protecting us who sometimes don't even deserve His love but He loves us anyway.
John 3:16 say's "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." "Are you serious" that in itself is some serious kind of love. I don't care what anybody say's or feels about me if you don't want to be around me because I love the Lord guess what that is just too bad if a person chooses to leave you because you love the Lord let them go. God is way more important to me than anyone can even imagine. He saved me for such a time as this I need Jesus I don't know about anyone else but I can tell you if it had not been for the love of Christ Jesus I would not be hereand neither would you therefore I am available to God. God's Will be done forever and always in Jesus name!
