God say's come as you are!

This is very true God does want us to come in as we are. In church a lot of us come in well- dressed, wearing expensive suits with hats to match, stockings and jewelry that sparkle like the stars up in the sky, this is good in fact we are to wear our blessings well. You see when you are in Christ Jesus old things are passed away and all things become new. Our minds become renewed, we learn that we have to read the Word of God to be Christ-like and how to live the life of abundance that God promises us. However some of us are there but others are not, others are coming in broken in spirit, confused, abused and wounded by the world and maybe even other Christians.
We have to remember we are all a part of One Body “The Body of Jesus Christ” with many members, never the less we are to encourage, uplift and edify each other. We are a family therefore we are not to judge one another. We go from level to level by faith to faith, meaning we are all on different levels and phases in our lives. We can’t look down on the prostitute
coming in with some hot pants and a bra on, we can’t look down on the girl dressing like a boy or the boy dressing like a girl, we can’t look down on someone because all they have to wear to church is a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, God say’s come as you are.
It is the Holy Spirit and the Living Word of God that convinces and convicts, not us. I know when I came into church I didn’t come in perfect and already made up, no I grew to where I am and I am still growing. I am saying let us encourage each other to come in and allow the Lord to have His way. It is God and God alone who is our judge and our maker. I am saying all this to say let’s continue to show sisterly and brotherly love by encouraging others to come in, let’s get them in church and let God groom them, change and renew their minds the way He wants to.
Some might have it a bit confused as well, yes God does encourage us to come to Him as we are this doesn’t mean to sin and know you are sinning and continue to sin and use the fact that God say’s come as you are to stay in it. You see when we come to the Lord willingly He begins to work on you, in you, with you and through you, there has to be change, in other words the way you came in is not the same way you will remain. You will grow and growth promotes change and if there are no changes something is not right. To be a Christian means to be Christ-like. We are not perfect but we are striving to be better daily at some point we have to stop sinning and do what is right in the sight of God, it’s the only way.
