Learn how to Pray! The Lord's Prayer!

But thou when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.  Matthew 6:6

 9. After this manner pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hollowed be thy name. 10 Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11. Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen Matthew 6:9-13

 This is how we ought to pray we are saved by God’s good grace and His mercies not by our actions or good deeds Glory to God!

Rejection does not feel good!

How many of you have experienced some form of rejection at one time or another? If this applies to you then you know it doesn’t feel good to be rejected when all you really want is to be accepted. I have experienced many forms of rejection, from people, trying to fit in and just not really reaching the level of acceptance I really wanted. Rejection can really do a number on one’s self-esteem. Because of the fear of being rejected I found myself falling into the people pleasing pattern (pleasing others even if I hurt myself to do it). 

Breast Cancer...

Breast Cancer is defined as being Cancer that forms in the tissue of the breast, usually the ducts (tubes that carry milk to the nipple).

When one hears the words breast cancer there is a certain stigma associated with it often times it’s the fear of dying.  But with advanced technology, early detection and personal monthly breast exams this doesn’t have to be a death sentence. This is a disease mostly found in women and men but very rarely men. Doctors recommend self-breast exams at least once a month and advise women to get yearly mammograms by the time they reach 50 for early detection, the quicker it’s found, the quicker it can be addressed and combated.

Negative people are like crab in a bucket they don’t want you to get out so they will pull you down and in a lot of cases keep you down. It is much more beneficial to be optimistic as opposed to pessimistic. If you go through life always expecting the worse that’s exactly what you will get but if you just step out on faith and turn that negative into a positive you will create hope for yourself and with hope skies the limit.
